A little about me:
Welcome, my name is Sherri and I am the author of this site where I hope that you will be inspired. I’ll share a little about me, but not so much that you are bored.
I’m a manager by day for an amazing staffing firm, and moonlight as a blogger and amateur photographer at night and on the weekends.
I have a passion for Diversity & Inclusion, and Serving People. I strive to create a community that empowers people to share the best of who they are and take control of the Legacy they leave.
I’m a visionary and strategist by nature, fun loving and caring. Find me writing, reading, spending time with family and friends, or in the garden working with my hands. Always with my camera.
I am fortunate to have many people who have influenced who I am at my core. My family and friends have touched my life in ways that they may never know. They have made a lasting impression on who I am and who I want to be.
My faith is also a big part of that imprint on my walk, and this verse rings true to me on how to leave a Legacy in Life.
Psalms 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
Stepping into the fall of my life, I felt compelled to write about moments that brought me to where I am today. Reflecting and being grateful for my life’s purpose, I look back over the seasons and can smile now as each day was important to bringing me to where I am.
It is my belief that we need to treat each moment as important and sacred. We are given the task of learning respect for the seasons we are in, and as they pass. Tomorrow will never come; bringing us joy, if we forget to find the contentment of today. I believe there is more of me to give and leave as my Legacy.
My mid-life gift as I call it, has taught me that I am uniquely me. I no longer need to be weary or scared to be who I truly am. I’m finding my purpose for the next part of my journey.
This is my Legacy to the one’s I love and to you.
What Legacy are you building and leaving?
You are a precious gift,
